New Pool Build - Conroe, TX - LOTS of pics! Come say hi Y'all.

Asparagus! That's hilarious! Whatever works! You're doing a great job with the training. I understand your worry. We have an outdoor kitty, and I'm worried about him or any other neighborhood cat falling in. I read that even if an animal can't swim, they can drown from exhaustion trying to find a way out. I think I've mentioned that before.... oh well. I found a YouTube video on how to make your own doggie ramp. I like this ramp better than the ones I saw on Amazon. I can post the link if you're interested. But since ya'll are always with your babies, it may not be necessary.

That's so funny that they hold a grudge against Eddie longer than with you! Our pets add so much fun to our lives, right?! My son sometimes will hold our cats longer than they like, so then they come to me as if to tattle on him - it's too funny. (but you probably have to be there....)

Swimming on the 4th of July! Priceless! Happy 4th, Wendy!

Suz! Cats DO tattle! After I get done doing a deep brushing of our fluffy cats the go RUNNING to my husband and yell at him while looking back at me as if to say "Did you see what she did???????" He, of course, tells them how bad Mom is and give them treats!

I'm laughing and grinning from ear to ear! Kim, you described it perfectly!!! Except my son is the bad guy, and I'm the one who does all the cooing and consoling and scolding my son for their benefit. Then they look at him like "See? MOM loves US!" Sadly, we had to give up the treats, because the vet told Max he must lose a little, just a tad.... Everyone who sees him calls him Roundy or Watermelon.

My Bassett Hounds just can't figure out what is going on when we are in our AGP. They stand down on the ground giving us the strangest looks. If we let them on the deck they act like they want to go in but are afraid. That's a good thing though because I'm afraid a dog would destroy an AGP.

Noah: I agree with you - pet claws and vinyl linings don't go well together! They must be adorable, though. I love Bassett Hounds - those eyes, OMG! And the ears..... I could pet their ears all day long! Where's your thread? We need some photos of them - oh, and your pool too! Hee hee. Take care.

Ha! We have had so much fun today! Had 20 people in the pool & it wasn't even crowded at all!! I stayed out when it got rambunctious- couldn't risk getting my ears wet. I'll do another training session with the brats tomorrow & see if Eddie will record it!

That's wonderful! I've been thinking about you and your new pool on the 4th!! It sounds like you had your party after all - even if it wasn't the official one! I can't imagine - 20 people! It sounds like your pool is perfect!

Good girl! Keep those ears dry. It wouldn't be worth the pain. Hopefully, you were fever free - you don't need any relapses!

I can't wait to see your babies (the brats) in their training video! I'll get my popcorn ready!!! ::epds::

Happy days are here again. La la la la la la la la la!!! Suz.

This is what it is all about! Looks like it was a great get together! Your pool water is beautiful, looks like it cleaned up nice and quick. I am so glad it came together for you for the 4th, and that you were feeling well enough to have people over. Fun times!
