Dogs off concrete min 24 hours, we waited almost 30.

The acrylic coating (Kool decking) is to go down tomorrow on the new and existing concrete and at min 48 hours for the claws to not be on that (24 hours for human feet).

Back to the kennel/doggie day care one more time...

Doggie day care what a great idea! We are also doing a kook deck coating. So that's good to know. I'm not going to be looking forward to walking the rabble. I'd do day care but I'd miss them too much. That and the paying for it. Okay, so it's mostly the paying for it. Hubby is home to help walk them so long as they do it this week.

yeah, we planned the fees into our project as we knew it was a necessary "thing to do" with the heat here walking on sidewalks/streets we have to be careful on time of day.

Looking good! Our dogs are being boarded right now as a matter of fact since we are on vacation. Not cheap to board 2 labs for 9 nights! However they do have a swimming pool which they go nuts for. In fact, the boarder asked for us to bring them two days early so they could be featured in a commercial they are doing, 2 nights free!

And by the way cwescapexlt4x4, I'm excited but most afraid for Sunday when your Seahawks "welcome" in my Cowboys. You could (and probably will) take the air out of our 4-1 sails!

Thanks, we are very happy about the deck finish... the new tile finish today... not so much. Lines off/out of line, missing ALL accent tile from back wall (found the full cases of it too!)
Called the PB and he will have them redo it...

Can you spot all 6 LED spot lights?

Love the pergola and cannot wait until ours is built. How many lumens are each of those leds? Is it hooked to power yet? If so, does it light up under the pergola good at night meaning no additional light required to be able to see under it without blinding over power lights?

Yeah those LED lights look way under-sized for the space to provide anything more than some basic accent lighting.

you never know, i have some super powerful single leds that put off a ton of light.

Wow those lights put out plenty of light for sure. You'll have to contact your builder to ask them the lumen output or the wattage output. That is more than enough light for what i'm looking for.

THAT looks GREAT! Did you get to watch them "fix" the tile? They look like they did a good job! I wonder how they cut the tile to fit in the accent tile? It looks very smooth and straight! Looks like they sent their A team for that1

Sadly I didn't get to see then do it, but i agree that they are straight cuts and looks good. Plus I collected a ton of tile parts (and some whole ones) for possible future use (possibly integrated into my BBQ island I am about to build).

So yesterday was a downer... Nothing like coming home and the ONE main thing you needed to have done and would keep us AND the dogs from using the patio for days WASN'T DONE! And at the time I couldn't get the PM on the phone. Not happy and at the time were possibly having to go get the dogs from the kennel.. Finally PM called, was news to him wasn't done but will be done first thing Saturday and they will cover the extra kennel day cost. Still pisses me off.... Crew arrived at 6:45am

Doggies come home today and today is supposed to be City final inspection and tomorrow interior pebble finish (confirming) followed next day by acid wash and finally FILLING THE POOL by end of week (possibly Thursday!)

It was a lot of taping for sure and seems like they did a good job.

for the most part been very happy with the work and thanks everyone for the feedback. Crossing fingers we pass today.

Some had asked about the LEDs and I have a photo but i guess I haven't uploaded it to the web, but it's a plug in transformer with a wireless remote.
The Bulbs draw 2.5 Watts each (6 total units) for 15 watt draw and they put out approximately 200 Lumens each.

We are getting the interior finish today!!! (better be....)
