New owner/builder build in Miami, Florida

I just get the "butterfly" weighted NONE wheeled vacuum head at Lowes or Walmart. You will need a hose that is big enough to go from the skimmer to each end of the pool. You will also need a pole that attaches to the vacuum head. You may need a vacuum skimmer connector. Make sure to measure the opening so you get one that fits.

Congratulations!!! love it!

Do you have a quote from a PB to compare your savings? Great great job Jorge!

No, I never got a quote from a builder. I always meant to, but with the running around I guess I forgot. I know for a fact that I saved a good chunk of money but how much is hard to quantify. I'll be doing a longer post some time later to sum up my experience as an owner builder.

I still have 4 inspections to go: final building, final plumbing, final electrical and zone/flood. I scheduled plumbing and electrical for tomorrow.

Not yet...I'm trying to be good and letting the plaster harden as much as I can!

Here's the first of 3,000 "is this normal" messages, so I apologize in advance!

I tested the water yesterday and today. Here are the couple of logs that I have...does this normal?

Also have another (probably dumb) question, Here is the label of the muriatic acid I'm using:

I should input this as 31.45% (20º Be) Muriatic Acid right?
