Your pH might be higher than 8.2 as I don't see it going down from your logs. Lets get you ready for a battle:

-Test pH use Pool Math to find how much of the above stuff to add to bring the pH down to 7.5. Put the pump on high and let her rip for about 15 mins.
-RE-test the pH.........where is is now? If it is not in the 7s then do it again!
-keep doing this until you hit the 7s on our pH test.

New plaster loves to push pH up.....we need to get it down and keep it down. It will be a battle but the first battle will be the hardest as we don't really know how high it is.

Wow! I have unbelievably behind on updating this thread! My apologies for that.

The pool has been filled for about a month now and we're loving it! Salt will be going in today so I can finally turn on the SWG. We've been slowly finishing the backyard with some landscaping and the artificial turf.
