We are in the final inspection phase of this build. I have several things that I am concerned about and would like your opinions on what to accept and what to push back on. Also listing some of items that we've already had to make concessions on due to errors by the PB. We signed our contract 07/15/19, work began 09/27/19. We have not yet paid the final 10% of our contract pending punch list items.
1) Shallow end depth was changed to 4' but wasn't communicated or executed. We noticed and advised the builder after rebar was installed and before gunnite, but still ended up with a depth of 3'-8". Accepted.
2) Porch was to be extended the width of the house and then a 6" step down to the pool decking. It was formed with the entire add-on down 6". Accepted.
3) Back wall of the pool should have been 2' wide, but was formed up at 1'. Accepted (we negotiated a small landing with steps that we formed and they poured instead).
4) Requested two skimmers, they placed them in such a weird place that we had them take one out. (pics previously posted in this thread) Accepted.
5) Requested a change order to add a Loop-Loc cover (15' x 30' installed) and approved it at $2100. They installed a Yard Guard brand cover. The Loop-Loc retails at about $1200 (

PB was notified of this error on 12/13/19 and offered a $500 credit to us yesterday.
6) Acid wash on plaster left streaks and spots. PB said this would correct itself with brushing. It has not improved. PB doesn't see anything wrong with the finish. See pics attached.
7) Allignment of bubblers is off. See pics.
8) We had them come clean the tiles, but there is still some concrete on the tiles from the cantilever deck forms and some concrete that is in the grout lines. My husband feels like they got all they can, but I am not satisfied. See pics.
We have our final city inspection tomorrow and will go over all of these issues with the builder then. I am ready to have this 6 month long project over with, but don't want to settle either. Any suggestions or input is greatly appreciated.
