Lowering PH before a SLAM.

I need to do a slam and it looks like my PH is over 8. How quickly can I bring the PH down to 7.2? Can I bring it down all at once or should I do it in stages, and if so what is the recommended maximum to lower PH?

AS per the SLAM Process, you should lower your pH to 7.2. I would suggest you start with adding enough acid to lower from 8 to 7.4. Let that circulate for an hour or so and test pH and TA. If you are in the 7's, then adjust to 7.2.
