I assume you mean to pour liquid chlorine into the chlorinator instead of pucks? That will not work. The chlorinator is not designed for liquid. Also, be sure to NEVER put liquid chlorine directly in contact with solid chlorine. A spontaneous explosion can occur.
You can build a Stenner Pump system with tank to inject liquid chlorine into your plumbing past the chlorinator (towards the pool return in the plumbing). There are lots of threads on this site with members that have done. The easiest and least maintenance going forward is to install a SWCG.
Pouring liquid chlorine in a tablet feeder will just result in the liquid pouring right down the return line. Any left when you switch the pump on will be flushed out pretty much instantly. Also if you have ever used trichlor then there will be residual trichlor in the feeder and you do not want to mix chlorine types.
