Hi, my gf just bought me a pool and we’re getting it filled on Thursday, I’m just wondering what chemicals do I need to keep up with maintenance and when do I put them in?

What volume of pool will it be and I assume it is an above ground pool.
You will need liquid chlorine - purchase at Home Deport or Walmart. It is in the pool section.
You will also need some stabilizer which is also at Home Depot.
Then purchase muractic acid for pH control. Start with those 3 items.
Additionally, we recommend that you test your own water and not rely on pool store testing as they can be inaccurate and try to sell products you do not need.

Is this a large above ground or something that is intended to be seasonal and drained and dismantled every winter?
