Kim, thanks for the compliments. Sorry, no bling on this. I actually wanted some with the spa tile but my wife wanted to keep it "subdued" or as much as one can with a pool.
Marty and Jim, thanks for the advice. Now that you both mention it, I do remember reading that at a certain temp the SWG wouldn't come online (or at least very well). I would have been the dummy trying to get it going with salt but with the cool weather, dumping bleach will probably be easier. One of the reasons I was happy to get the pool done in the fall- I can get used to the chemistry of the pool during season where the numbers shouldn't vary too widely.Great advice, gents and thanks again.
Does this mean not dumping any salt in at all until next season or go ahead and put salt in, just don't crank up the SWG. I'm sure that there is no reason to add salt if not being used to swim and produce chlorine.
