Doubtful. The stuff most stores sell is cheap liquid glue.

Neither do I. 99% of the time it is a filter issue if it takes this long.

If its something with filter what do you think it could be? Or what should i look for?

Wrong plumbing hook up, wrong sand, not enough sand, etc. Again, I am no sand filter expert.

You do have sand not some magic media, right.

I just got the filter and sand from a very reputable dealer here. And my husband plumbed everything. He's a construction supervisor. So I'm lost.

@JamesW This sand filter is plumbed correctly, right? This pool is not clearing. Two weeks with cloudy water. SLAM process correctly followed.

I think that the plumbing is correct. The ports should be labeled.

What is the starting pressure and what pressure do you backwash?

What does the waste water look like while backwashing?

Starting pressure is 12 psi I've been backwashing at 22 psi. The water coming out backwash just looks cloudy and dirty. I run til clear

TFP recommends backwash when your filter pressure rises by 25% over your clean pressure.
