Yikes....good to know. I've only done it once before I realized that I shouldn't. Hopefully didn't hurt anything. I was just thinking it would keep the IntelliFlo from having to prime and spin up to 3,450 rpm each time I wanted to switch the multi-port dial. But now it makes sense why that's not a good idea. Speaking of the IntelliFlo spinning up to 3,450 to prime (and maybe this should be another thread). Is there a reason it needs to spin up to the max RPM to prime or can/should I configure it to be less when it primes?
