Hack My Pool

Do you have a basement or a crawlspace ? Either would likely make it easy to tap a spigot off the house lines for filling. If not, any exterior wall sink would be just as easy with a T then poke it though the outside wall.

Shark Bite fittings and valves/spigots literally snap in place once the pipe is cut.

I’m not understanding why you are needing to replace so much water.
Are you vacuuming to waste or something?
No? I had my water level REALLY low, and finally said enough with this, I filled it as full as I could get and am only going to refill with inside water instead of hose water

When I backwash and rinse - I do let that flow out entirely - I have a 100 ft hose that drains off the edge of my property. I estimate losing maybe 30 gallons when I do that though.

Need some pointers on an OCLT. Daughter and friends (not dumb one who broke the pool) want to swim tonight but I need to run an OCLT.

Do I run before they get in? Or after they get out tonight?
