Recently my crew and I completed the initial pool start up for 2 fiberglass pool/spas both of the spas are slamming water up the air pipe to the extent of being inoperable.
We spoke to our salesman and he told us that the fittings they pre installed in our spas do not have the Venturi effect and don’t mix air and water properly.
The “solution” to fix that was to turn the pump way down, but the fittings still force water in to the blower check valve and have so much pressure that the blower over heats in under 10
Minutes.
Both pools are completely back filled and concrete deck is poured so I cannot remove and replace the fittings.
Is there anyway we can fix that issue, the spas are borderline unusable

Tldr spa jets in fiberglass spas force water in to the blower

Looks like a CMP jet (2.5" Jet Internals - CMP). That should be the correct unit for that application, did you have the air and water lines hooked up separately on the back side of the fitting?
As far as other fixes, a check valve closer to the jets or stronger blower may help.

The air and water are both hooked up separately and we have a jandy blower 2 hp at the pad and the closest I can get the check valve is about 10ft from the spa as the concrete deck is poured

I’m looking for maybe a Venturi fitting that would thread in as a replacement for the cmp. to avoid this with future fiberglass instillations I should install the check valve as close as I can to the spa?

I thought the venturi was in the jet body itself, so I'm out of ideas. My thought with the check valve closer to the fittings is that it might make it easier on the blower by not allowing the water as far back up the pipe, but I'm not sure that would work or not. Don't know about replacement venturi fittings. Best bet would be to get in touch with the jet manufacturer and see what their thoughts are. I've only used the CMP jets once, but didn't have any issues with them so I'm not sure what it could be.
