They exchanged it no questions asked. So good news. I did discover a different method for chipping that’s goes faster and uses a different bit. The bit flat bit works better for skimming the last bit of plaster off of the gunite. A straight flat bit aiming straight down into the plaster works in that it fractures a larger portion of the plaster and makes it tend to break loose in larger chunks.Yikes! I would think that should easily be exchanged, but I've been wrong before. I can't see that you were using it in a manner that wasn't intended. I've torn up tile with those, but Bosch brand, not Milwaukee, and not ever had any issues like that.

I’m looking at renting one from Quikspray Inc, but doing it myself is still a backup plan. Even renting a pump, I’d need a few other somewhat experienced people helping that I don’t currently have. I’m somewhat hopeful I can find someone I can trust to do the plaster work at a minimum.@Bperry what kind of plaster rig are you looking at using? Man please be careful - if it gets a pack in the hose the pump will easily generate enough pressure to blow the hoses apart violently - a local competitor blew a hose and it whipped and snapped his shin...then did it again about 6 months later to the same leg!
Let me know, I might be able to offer some tips on best practices to make it go smoothly. Diamond-Brite can be tricky to pump.
Good thinking! Get it done and let them help out!So I’ll be leaning on my wallet again to rent a small bucket loader and then have the family grab a bucket and scoop.
I SO hear you!!!! I do not like waiting for other people. They are NOT of the same time line I amin a bit of a holding pattern waiting on someone else. That’s the hardest part for me, as I’m not very patient.
