Best Spa Line Flush for Biofilm

Both cleaners are equal in what they do. We make both products. Whatever brand you choose will do a fine job.
Purging the plumbing lines and jets in a hot tub is probably the single best maintenance protocol a hot tub owner can perform. It is absolutely amazing to me that people really hate to drain hot tub water. Every single hot tub should have the plumbing lines cleaned with an effective plumbing and jet cleaner at least twice per year. Water has to be drained after this cleaning is done. If the hot tub gallonage is 275 gallons or less, we recommend a minimum of 3 purges. Huge dividends are paid to those that follow this program. Swim Spas can usually get away with a once a year purge unless the vessel is frequented by lots of people many times a week.

The Hot Tub Serum program has many products in it's portfolio. They have a purge product called Total Cleanse, which is a gel, a weekly maintenance EPA Registered liquid called Hot Tub Serum Weekly Maintenance, a super-concentrated Swim Spa weekly maintenance liquid, a Pool Clarifier & Bio-Cleaner gel that is added monthly and a Serum Chemical Kit that is offered to new hot tub owners. Hot Tub Serum Weekly Maintenance works with any sanitizer program. Nothing else is necessary in order to have a very well maintained hot tub. Serum is truly, a wonderful program.

Wow!!!! I just used Aww-Some for the first time before a drain and fill. I have used two different products in the past. The Aww-Some pulled out SOOOOOO much more biofilm than the other products. I did a second purge with Aww-Some that came out clean. I will only be using Aww-Some in the future. Doug

I saw enough people saying the above that I went straight to Ahh-some. They were regular members here, with nothing to gain from sharing the truth just like the rest of TFP (Shameless plug, sorry not sorry, it's the dang truth)

Anywho it took one try and even expecting the sludge i was still be blown away by what came out. I'm sold forever. When I moved and purged the jacuzzi tub we inherited it came out pretty clean. I was surprised at the tub being clean because I knew firsthand what would have come out if it was in there.

Hello Duganderson: Glad that the purge went well. It really is amazing that so much gunk can be nestled under the slime layers in hot tub plumbing. You will now find that your water will be clearer and that the sanitizer or chlorine demand will go down. Remember to purge every 6 months or so with a 400 gallon hot tub. Enjoy the good times that a hot tub can provide. You deserve it after doing the work.
