When you mention flushing the line after draining the spa and removing the nozzles, what would I have to do to achieve this? Would flushing be just turning it on without the nozzle to let it drain through? Thanks!

You would remove the outer fittings and the nozzles, then run the pump for a while to flush out the lines.
