Any vinyl pool owners using a roller manual vacuum head in spite of advice to the contrary like this guy on YouTube? Please share your experience

We 100% are aware of the advice against this, have read back on posts here about it but these lousy brush and roller ball heads marketed for vinyl are just that. We want to roll too! But we notice that the YouTube poster hasn't updated and want to know who has tried this and are you sorry? That's all, we won't hold you responsible, promise!
I use one at pool opening in spring. it does tend to get sucked to the floor occasionally so you have to twist it to release the vacuum. It's okay, but i will probably not buy another one.
Thanks, it would be nice if they made a hybrid vacuum head with wheels yet some bristles to keep the suction off the vinyl

If you look on Amazon, there are heads that will be better for vinyl and which have suction breaks built into them to release vacuum if they get stuck. I used the regular wheel version on my AB years ago and did pucker the liner in a spot with it once.
