After the rain and questions about test results

I’ve only had my pool up 2 weeks and over half that time it has rained. It has been 4 days since I last tested. I did, decide to add a quart of chlorine the day before yesterday, in the pouring rain, because I knew the level was bound to be lower than target. I’m guessing that was wise since my FC isn’t totally nonexistent?
Anyway, it isn’t raining at the moment so I tested. My results are
FC 3.8
pH 7.6
TA 90 or 100 (does the color change have to be all the way red, or just until it obviously isn’t green anymore?)
CYA midway between 30 and 40 on the tube
CH 70 (although the water turned back to red after a minute)

I purchased the Pool Math app and I‘m going to start using it in earnest today. How should I log TA, CYA and CH?

TA is until the color no longer changes. Then subtract the last drop used.
CYA is round up, so 40.
CH is until you get sky blue. And it stays sky blue.

Be careful going that long without chlorine, even if it is raining.

When you test FC, use a 10 ml water sample. One scoop of powder and each drop of reagent to clear is 0.5 ppm FC.

Good job!
