Green and cloudy after every rain

Full day of slamming roughly every 2 hours, and pool is still very dirty and not clear. There is dirt on the stairs I keep brushing off, and still can’t see to bottom. What else can I be doing? I feel like I’m at a loss.

Also- it seems like I’ll basically need to run my SWG at 100 24-7 to keep FC high enough to prevent this from happening again. I know I need to raise my CYA but maybe this SWG is just so undersized that even if my CYA is up, it won’t generate enough FC?

With your cya low like it is your swcg will struggle.
After the slam (passing all 3 end of slam criteria) raise the cya to around 70.
If you can’t find a way to keep the run off dirt/organic material out of the pool when it rains you are fighting a losing battle with clarity.
Does your bot have pleated or ultra fine filters?
Also check your cartridge filter pressure & clean it as needed. How are you running your pump (speed/time)?

Will do, re CYA!
I will try and figure out the dirt situation- this is new so I don’t know what has changed!
Bot doesn’t have ultra fine filters, just a mesh basket.
Filter pressure says it’s clean- I’m running pump 24-7 at speeds between 2000-3000. Today mostly 2500-3000. I’m hoping to see some positive change by tomorrow because this is very frustrating :(

It’s been over 12 hours of running the pump, vacuum and the FC is 8. Still can’t see to the bottom
Of the pool. What should I be doing differently??
As mentioned above by @mknauss and @Mdragger88, did you read the SLAM process and maintain a FC level of 12? Your CYA is 30 and your SLAM level is 40% of your CYA, i.e. 12ppm of FC. You have to watch it and add FC every few hours if needed to KEEP it at 12ppm. If it's not working I have to wonder if your CYA is truly 30 or higher. The SLAM process can take several days to remedy your situation so please be patient.
