A Houston Pool Build Inside the Loop

Thanks Bad. Not sure how we are even going to get it into the garage to dry! My dil's father has furniture dolly we are going to try.

Well the PB was out today and laid out the pool! It was too dark when I got home to take pics but will do so in the morning. He laid out the coping as well as the firepit so it really gives you a sense of how big it will be. Can't wait to show y'all those pics!

Yippee!!! Your pool is ZOOMING along! I'm so glad it is bigger than you expected. Can't wait to see pictures!!! I'm working extra the next 2 days but I'll peek in on you, Jamie, and Umm at the very least.

Kim, hubby is really happy with everything so far. Well, except for the fact we have to move the trunk into the garage!

Helen, yes it is the perfect size and design for our yard! This design was so different than what we had originally imagined, but think it's the best for our space.

Umm, good question. Yes they have an approximate location. Of course Centerpoint wouldn't mark the line to the house because they didn't install it. My husband has been under our house enough (the older part is on pier and beam) that he was pretty sure where it came into the house and so they can approximate where it will be in the yard. The owner was out today along with the designer and project manager and it was definitely a topic of discussion!

Well just a minor snafu. The layout didn't pass city inspection because the one side was too close to the garage (<5). The owner took responsibility for the error since he'd told the crew to just make sure they were 5' from the fence. So they will just move everything over about 7" and inspection is rescheduled for tomorrow along with the dig.

Kim, we are really liking this PB so far.

I would move the garage so the pool can be bigger...
