I know from reading these forums that ozone is not recommended for an outdoor pool. My experience with ozone was from salt water reef aquariums. In order to use ozone though, the equipment had to be ozone safe othewise the ozone could degrade the plastic parts. Is this also true of pool equipment? I've read a lot of comments about the pros/cons of ozone but haven't seen any discussion on the possible negatives to pool equipment.
