Backfilling the pool in TX, options and where to get?

In manufacturers installation instructions it says to backfill with crushed stone/ gravel in size 3/8" to 3/4". I live in TX, north of Dallas, and I am unable to find supplier that has this size. There is a crushed lime stone size 1" and down. Would that work?. How about crushed granite? FYI, this is a radiant aluminum pool inground.Please help.

In North Carolina, what the manufacturer is calling for would be #57 stone (or close enough). That's somewhat universal in most states....see if you can find that.

If I recall correctly as Duraleigh mentioned #57 stone is 1" and down.

#57 is aggregate ranging from 1" to 0.19" which is an "open graded" aggregate with little to no very small particles resulting in many air voids. Sounds like what the manufacturer is recommending.
