    jets how to aim?

All our jets in the pool were aimed down. I took them and aimed them up to make water movement. Is there a reason to aim them down? or can they stay like they are? TIA Tina

I think the idea is to point them so they create a circular motion around the pool perimeter. Helps push stuff towards the skimmer(s).

I would think you'd want them slightly down and to the side to circulate the water better, pushing the bottom water to the top.
