Where to aim return jets?

This is a rectangular lap pool.
Of the infinity type, with two overflow edges.

All jets located on the same long side, positioned approximately half-way from the bottom of the pool.
The pool's depth is at 1.4 meter the entire length.

The builder has left all jets pointing straight across the pool, angled up to the water surface.
Would like to hear your opinions on the desired jet aim direction for this particular design.

It appears there is no skimmer, so the PB is directing the jets to push all debris to the infinity edge where it is captured in the basin. It shows 5 return jets opposite the infinity edge.
I would not have all the jets pointed upwards as that creates aeration which raises the pH. It is fine to have some of the jets point upwards and the otthers to point straight or downwards.
