YUP I caved in! i bought it on amazon for $97( tax and shipping included CAD) I hooked it up and all and it works well but was just wondering what setting do you use when you want to vacuum the pool? I just used the filter setting but I read somewhere here that using the recirculate works better...

OMG!! i want one sooooo bad!! only thing i'm worried about is if it will work with my sandfilter pump. Everyone speaks about 2500 pump etc. I'm not sure which one i have....i think mine is is 2800Gph and the outlet is the one with the eyeball....will there be enough suction for this thing to move?

ur lucky! my local pool supply carries nothing to help the intex users like us. Pool store is useless unless i want the standard stuff like chemicals etc

I'm looking into that vacuum too but it's way to pricey for me to ship from amazon. I'd be paying like 250 or more. Right now i'm using the Pool Blaster Max Vacuum works well actually dont have any complaints but wish i had something that did the vacuuming itself lol ya i'm lazy.

so I did check all the hoses, took them apart and tighten them all. I do still have a small bubble in the basket and there are bubbles still along the side of the pool and floor but not as many. I know there isnt suppose to be any bubbles at all in the basket but this is driving me crazy lol

no never!! well not for me at least here in Canada, Ontario, the winters are long and cold so i dont want to take that chance. So i store it away every year

thanks for the reply. AS of now my swg seems to be working, just tested the water again and now i do have FC and it's at 4 but my cya is still low.....so do i still add the bleach? because the water still seems a bit cloudy or do i just add the cya through the sock method?

i've just finished cleaning my swg ( as to what the manual says) i'm crossing my fingers it works if it does work does that mean i need to add cya? since its 0? any help would be appreciate thanks
