    circupool rj-60+ install location

Can I go out the filter then straight up rather than the tilt that was done? I was thinking out the filter straight up and install saltwater generator inline vertically there then go across to the jandy? One other question, my aux pump for my polaris has a removable connector hose for easy...

    circupool rj-60+ install location

Im not trying to replumb everything, Ive attached where i think would be a place I could install with vertical install kit. I marked the site with a yellow line, the other pipe is a water fall I dont run all the time due to algae. Thoughts?

filter pressure issue after introducing slower overnight RPM

thanks for the advice. I actually run my daytime at max for 6hours then the remaining 16 hours is 85% for 8 hours then I was using 50%. At 30-40%, due to the design, the pump I have, imho, has a poor design for the pump basket which relies on internal suction to secure basket. The original pump...

k, will try it, I do get quite a bit of debris so it could be possible.

filter pressure issue after introducing slower overnight RPM

Hey all, so to summarize my issues to date I thought my pressure issue with my pool filter was related to algae previously but it seems that is not the case? I fought off algae with yalls help (none visible but definitely was losing too much FC) and I SLAM'd for a few days a few weeks back and...

CYA and FC trade off in the TEXAS SUMMER HEAT

Im at 50 and lost 2.5 during yesterday's "extreme UV". Once I solve my other problem I will probably bump mine to 60. I dont want to be out here every 24hours adding stuff. I also did overnight chlorine tests and no problems so Im certain its not algae. One thing you might want to do is make...

Killing Algae and taking names, my slam experience(leaving town soon too)

Youre the best thank you! One other question did you leave pool at slam level before you left or normal? I dont know my FC burn rate yet because my pool is still at slam level. Im thinking I leave pool at FC normal level, put a large floater with 3-4tabs then have them come over once and throw...

do you think I wont need anything beyond the tabs added (no LC)?

Killing Algae and taking names, my slam experience(leaving town soon too)

Well folks, the persistence paid off while i logged 14.5 last night i tested twice (also got 15~) because as you said people get tired, lose count etc. This morning somewhat refreshed I got 16 which was my target so I think I miscalculated last night. The water feature was the culprit. Final...

Quick question if my FC levels are high do they burn off faster than a FC level that's closer to my normal range during the day?

update, considering how off my FC was I changed my pool volume to 20k in poolmath more drastic than the 500gallon suggested earlier. Earlier I needed to move from 14.5 to 16.0 which poolmath said add 31oz of LC. I did that, waited 30minutes or so (now) and tested again, boom, 16FC so likely...

Alright, I turned off my water feature its a stone waterfall that definitely is growing algae on it and Im wondering if that is my remaining algae source. Since I got this new pump its a VS so water feature was running 24x7x365 at slow and heavy speeds so along with the lack of circulation for...

I again overshot to 21 even though I was precise with the pour. Im going to begin reducing amounts I put in by 25% recommended by poolmath. Perhaps my pool size calculation is off, Not 100%. I have a strange shaped pool and have never known the correct size.

Morning update, Last night after sundown my FC test was 21 (accidentally overshot?) this morning FC was 15? I know some folks had mentioned going over the FC doesnt actually help but should the pool have maintained 20-21 overnight? This morning I added the poolmath recommended amount of LC and...

yup, i think im understanding now. Pool company tests are Crud and test strips suck. They starve your pool and keep it on the brink of algae so you constantly need products/set you up to fail. The taylor tests are amazing. This whole issue started due to a pump swap and a leak on the pressure...
