I’m having a 15’x30’ oval pool installed in July. I need to have 3 stumps grinded down from trees that were cut down. I just want to ensure there isn’t much settling of the ground. What should I fill the holes with? Tamp it afterwards with a gas tamper?

Was shopping today looking at above ground pools. Told them I wanted salt water and they told me the only appropriate pool is aluminum. They wouldn’t recommend the resin “salt friendly” pools as they will just corrode. Is this true or just trying to upsell me?

Where would one look for reviews of pool kits? I think Trevi is built in Canada and from what I understand the “volt” is a steel pool? Is this bad because of rust? Does anyone have any experience with this type of pool?

Thank you. Did you use a transparent stain? I have seen some decks peeling but I think that’s more of the semi transparent stain.

I’m torn since the cost of composite is so much more. We’re planning a large de k around the pool and the deck may cost more than the pool if o do composite.

What material do people use to build the deck around their pool? Composite? Pressure Treated? Other? My wife is worried about slivers with pressure treated.

Semi inground or completely above ground? Very true, Last summer was not ideal.

Thank you for the reply. I have been told that inground and completely above ground would require quite a lot of extra costs to grade the yard even enough. Semi inground seems like the only option. Looking more like no pool

It has been hard to find anyone wanting to do the job. I have a large backyard 60’ x 150’ but only a 4 foot access so no room for machinery.
