Ok so I got the ph to 7.4 and I did the overnight test....when I took the FC test a little after sundown it was 6.2ppm and at 6am it was at 5.2ppm. So It says if it’s 1.0ppm or under you don’t need to slam. Only thing is I see no improvement and I still have whatever the stuff on the bottom...

Ok so my uncle turned the pump off by accident and when I went to plug the filter back on, the return started to shoot out sand. That is what was probably on the bottom of pool.why would the filter suck sand into the pool? Also what should I do about cleaning all the sand up? Thank you

When taking a ph test with a Taylor 2006, do you take the color sample right away right. Because I noticed if you wait 45-60 seconds it changes to a dark color. Thanks

Hey, I'm sorry I meant the acid demand test took 18 drops to reach the top color which is dark pink and 19-20 to reach 7.5 which is orange. My plan is to make my now ph in pool math to 8.2 and then target of 7.5 and add 2/3 of muriatic acid and re test a hour later and readjust as needed.
