I recently took a test with the Taylor test kit and came up with a fc=3.5, cc=.2 and cya under 30. When I tested the cya when I opened pool it was about 35ish. I think I tested it about 30 min after the granules were done. How long should you wait to take a test for cya? Also my pool is getting a tiny bit cloudy. Just had some rain but I don’t think that should effect it. I’m I going to need to slam if it is worst by tomorrow?

You should wait 24-48 hours after all CYA is dissolved before testing for it.

CYA was over 30-40 but then checked a week ago and was under 30. Getting more cya test liquid Friday to check again.
Think I’m going to slam it on Saturday when I can get the cya correct then slam. My water has been cloudy for about a week now
