Yep It seems I've been slowly destroying the cell. I'll try to reassemble one more time moving it a little, but after spending so many hours last weekend doing it I've no hope left lol.

Yep lots of stress at that point. As soon as I cut and tried to unscrew the joint it came down clean as if it was cut... Removing that it's going to be fun without messing up the threads.

Yes I ended up using channel locks. The problem is that the clamp tabs are too short so if you attach the channel lock then there's no room to squeeze the bolt. What I did is holding them close enough with the channel lock and zip tie the tabs together, then release the lock, thread the bolt and...

Jim you're right. I failed to mention that this behavior only occurs during the time the pump is supposed to be running. After the schedule is complete at the end of the day the pump remains off (thankfully otherwise I'd be really worried). But it is during normal operation that it shuts down...
