    Plaster Staining Identification

This season I started noticing a light brown to light tan staining on some areas of my plaster. My pool is only 1.5 years old and I keep up well with balancing and brushing. My only struggle has been PH which I am constantly bringing down from 8.0. I've brushed it and nothing happens. I'm...

New plaster and tile problems-any ideas welcome

My pool builder had to cut into the plaster to add some tile to our steps and sun shelf. Now after several months it seems the grout or cement mixture around the tile they used is yellowing. Any ideas how I can fix?

Keep Salt Levels at 3200-3500 at temp of 56 and lower?

I'm not closing my pool this winter, do i need to continue feeding salt (3200-3500 ppm) if the temp levels are 56 and will be dropping even more? Should I turn off my SWG and just feed bleach when needed? I do plan on using my attached spa from time to time but i can isolate that when needed.

I have an attached spa that I'd like to keep open during the winter but close my pool. I will have the pool covered but just used a solar cover for spa for when we want to use it. What tips do you have to make this happen seamlessly? I'll have the water circulating only to the spa and back...

Can't seem to get my PH lowered

That makes sense, reading some previous posts I realized that PH is going to be high after a new construction pool which mine was finished in January so the dust could still be causing PH high readings

Can't seem to get my PH lowered

Water is balancing quite nicely i just can't seem to get my PH in the magical range of 7.4-7.6. We have had a lot of Rain. But I thought Rain tended to be more acidic (thus helping to lower by PH)? I added about quart and 1/2 to the pool. I'll post results later today to see if it adjusted...

Continue balancing chemicals or do I need a SLAM?

Thanks for the advice Marty, always appreciated. From what I read SWG should be turned off (or set to 0%) before adding Liquid Chlorine. When should I turn my SWG back on, once everything is balanced and green is gone?
