No O-ring. It's a gasket. I will try and tighten the nut and see if that works. If not, I will lower water level, then replace the return gaskets.

Hello, We opened our pool last week and today I noticed a small leak coming from the return when I saw water dripping down the wall. (Not good) I looked and it is leaking from the threads that go into the wall, not around the gasket. What is the best way to fix this? I assume I will have to...

I have to say, having never used/worked with PVC before, I was a little nervous with this little project this weekend. I have to say that it was better than I thought it was going to be. I only hope that when we get the cover off the pool later this week and we fire it up, there are no leaks...

I use a siphon and place it in a float for a few hours to bring my level down. I've had to do it three times so far this summer including this past Thursday.

If you are dishing out on an oval pool, you have to remember that there are straps that go across the bottom of the straight sides to reinforce the walls. I have a 18 x 33 x 54" sharkline. I think I remember reading on here that you can dish out one of the ends but I'm not sure if you can dish...
