    Small leak. Need advice

No O-ring. It's a gasket. I will try and tighten the nut and see if that works. If not, I will lower water level, then replace the return gaskets.

    Small leak. Need advice

Hello, We opened our pool last week and today I noticed a small leak coming from the return when I saw water dripping down the wall. (Not good) I looked and it is leaking from the threads that go into the wall, not around the gasket. What is the best way to fix this? I assume I will have to...

    Rusted skimmer

Casey, I took the cover off the pool today after hard plumbing it. These are some more current pics of the tan liner in the direct sunlight. Man, the water sparkles :). https://drive.google.com/file/d/1reqVBZ9bGao-UNntEoqyzreHqrZ75WYE/view?usp=sharing...

27'AG install in Kentucky in 10 days! With additional Patio and Deck build!

Thanks for the info about your dig. I am guessing we are at least 24" out of level. We are having it installed. We bought this house back in September and left an 18'x33' oval at our old home. My wife can't go one summer without a pool! (I can't either, but I won't tell her that:) I was...

27'AG install in Kentucky in 10 days! With additional Patio and Deck build!

As a fellow NKY resident, I love your build and the progress. We are having our pool installed next week (hopefully) This rain is crazy. If you don't mind my asking, how far out of level was your yard before the dig?

Haggling with sales? Getting a new agp.

I just purchased an ABG from a pool store The Pool and Spa Warehouse in Cincinnati, OH. I knew what I wanted (equipment wise) and was able to get exactly what I wanted without a bunch of useless extra stuff I don't need. That was one advantage of the store I bought from. Similar to online...

    Here we go again

I will be posting pics of the install for sure. I purchased the pool from a dealer in the Cincinnati area: The Pool and Spa Warehouse. Their prices were on par or better than many others including online dealers. I was actually able to purchase the liner as an upgrade from the same dealer. I...

    Here we go again

We sold our house back in September and left our 18 x 33 oval behind. My wife wants a pool in the worst way. She can't even go one summer without a TFP pool. (Myself and my 6 year old daughter included) So today, I purchased a new above ground pool to enjoy at our new house. This time...

    Plumbing upgrade

I have to say, having never used/worked with PVC before, I was a little nervous with this little project this weekend. I have to say that it was better than I thought it was going to be. I only hope that when we get the cover off the pool later this week and we fire it up, there are no leaks...

    Rainwater raising water level

I use a siphon and place it in a float for a few hours to bring my level down. I've had to do it three times so far this summer including this past Thursday.

    Graded floor for deeper center?

If you are dishing out on an oval pool, you have to remember that there are straps that go across the bottom of the straight sides to reinforce the walls. I have a 18 x 33 x 54" sharkline. I think I remember reading on here that you can dish out one of the ends but I'm not sure if you can dish...
