I still don't understand why you have 2 speeds set that span 24 hours. Your "filter pump" should cover one of those. And again try to have at least 5 minutes between speed changes.

Also why are you running at such a high speed? SWCGs typically only require around 1200-1500rpms.

Where are you getting those names from in the schedule? Did you create OneTouch routines? If so I'll tell you that's your problem. Those should be avoided.

Yes, because I was told I could when installed. We were not given much direction on the app and nothing was correct. We had to fix the pump because I couldn’t control it at all.

Those were on there already when you told me to add filter pump. Also we have 2 waterfall things hooked up to returns that don’t work at low speeds. The higher speed is during the day and we like it to cut down in the evening and through night.

OK this makes sense now. The root of all of your problems is the OneTouch buttons.

If your scheduler turns on your pump when it is scheduled, and then you come back a few hours later and turn the pump off, it will remain off until the next time it is scheduled to go on again. The basic crux of it is that the scheduler is in control unless and until you change something. When a OneTouch button is turned off, it is turning off your pump. And it is the same thing as you turning the pump off.

Most people have issues with OneTouch. You can play around with the OneTouch and see if you can get it to work properly before you add it to the schedule. My strong advice is to never use the OneTouch buttons though.

What are you doing with the OneTouch? I suspect you could do the same thing without the OneTouch.

I have attached the most recent after I just deleted as you suggested. Now how do I have the schedule decrease the pump RPMs in the evening and not kick back up until morning early afternoon?

You can assign the aux port of the waterfalls to a speed setting. That way when you turn the waterfall on, the speed increases. When you turn it off, the speed will revert to "Pool". Note below in my speed settings for #8.

Keep in mind that running water features will increase your pH. We never really talked about pool maintenance and the methods espoused by Trouble Free Pool. Take a look at the links there is a lot of good information there. The cornerstone to the TFP method is owner testing and chemical maintenance.

Yiikes! Do you have any returns that don't cycle through the waterfalls? If not, that is a serious design flaw that is going to create issues for you moving forward. As a new plaster pool you already are going to need at least a gallon of acid per week to keep your pH down. If your waterfalls are running all the time, you'll need maybe another gallon of acid per week. And that is going to lower your total alkalinity too much. I suggest you get the TF-100 Salt test kit asap and take a full battery of tests so we know where you are.

Set your #1 "Pool" speed lower. It should be set to the lowest that you want to run your pump. Mine is set for 1800 but I could go 1500 or even 1200. Then, you can schedule higher speeds throughout the day for whatever speed you want.

I have 4 returns and 2 have the waterfalls. There not as your thinking. Small ones. I’ll send pic. My pool has been fine for over a year now. My only problem is the pump turning off whenever the heater/chiller reaches the selected temp.

Ah ok I see you just stuck them in returns. Those little ones probably won't make much of a pH difference.

And again, don't use the OneTouch for turning the heater on......

Ok, I have never used the one touch buttons because the schedule had pool doing what I needed. Now i have deleted everything and need to set it back up. I’m still confused as to how this was causing pump to just shut off when I use the chiller/heater when it’s on a schedule to not shut off ever?

You don't need to schedule your heater/chiller. Just set the temp and turn it on within the Aqualink app.

Look at your OneTouch program. Everything it turns on, it turns off.

The entire OneTouch is a design flaw. The pool automation industry is stuck in the 90s. Nothing ever changes.

You can add any label on your speed VSP setting to the schedule. See mine below.
