Poolmath lies here. It rounds up or down to the nearest Tsp. Again, waaaaaaaaay too much time was spent. Lol.was struggling with this because I read 1 tsp = 30ml. But that's not what it says. 1 tsp = 5ml, so you have 18900:5 or about 3800:1. So, yeah, you get close to triple your bleach concentration in ppm.
Yes. But there is no action that needs to be taken on it if above 50 ppm.Is the TA reading during a SLAM accurate?
*edit* just read the TA portion in ABCs and now i understand why it probably doesn't matter that it's high.Yes. But there is no action that needs to be taken on it if above 50 ppm.
In the next week (?) of SLAM there will be no short term ill affects.Really? There's no negative effects? The recommended range is 50-90
We can see the bottom today and it's holding chlorine and CC is.5. There's still more SLAM to go?In the next week (?) of SLAM there will be no short term ill affects.![]()
Is the water crystal clear? Remember? We can see the bottom today and it's holding chlorine and CC is.5. There's still more SLAM to go?
You want clear. And I mean CLEAR, heads-or-tails on a nickel clear. Feel free to be the first dime I’ve been able to call in an above ground. That would be awesome. There's still more SLAM to go?
Dang! Ok. Point taken, lol.Click on the pic in post #27. Factor in the water movement and imagine how clear it was for OP. Yeah. That clear. I then throw down the gauntlet and challange you to a dime.
What would you do? Opening intex pool. Water clear. Debris on bottom
Have been keeping that slaM for more than a week. here is the latest photo. Love to hear the thoughts or comments if it looks blue or am I still green. I have my own opinion.www.troublefreepool.com
Everybody always thinks they are clear-ish, or kinda clear, Or even clear.Dang! Ok. Point taken, lol.
It would have to be so bad that it’s chemically burned. Usually it’s just a fade. What happened ? Got pics ?So I've bleached part of my liner on accident. Is it compromised, like does that make the vinyl thinner somehow?
I'll take pics in the morning. I was slowly pouring the chlorine in, but not spreading it out. I couldn't see the bottom ship didn't know it was causing bleaching. It would have to be so bad that it’s chemically burned. Usually it’s just a fade. What happened ? Got pics ?
*obligatory THAT sucks !!!*
more words about it :ing

When pouring in regular small maintenance amounts just going slow in front of the return is usually fine but when pouring in slam amounts I always have the bleach jug in one hand & the brush in the other mixing (my family jokes that i’m like a witch stirring my cauldronI'll take pics in the morning.
