Home Depot carries a SWG? Who knew?

Wow, I was looking for pool salt and it looks like Home depot is getting into the business big time

Mark,

Yep looks like they're entering the business but may be a little over their head. Looking at the XtremepowerUS brand. It has only a 30 day warranty that's covered by a company called Stark International. Here's a clip from their warranty:1587296781203.png

Installation manual refers to salt as an extremely corrosive environment then goes into a section on CSI that looks like it was cut and pasted in.

A lot of the better more well-known brands are out of stock. Maybe the recent virus and bleach scarcity really has caused a run on swg equipment? If I purchased from them I would get the major brand only but looks like you can do way better on price elsewhere. I wouldn't touch the XtremepowerUS brand (made in China not US) with a 10' pole,

Chris

That's nuts, spend $900 and get 30 day's :) Home Depot is good at returns to the store but guessing because these are online they will tell you to call a 1-800 number

Wonder if Walmart or Amazon is looking at re branding someone SWG.."Hey Circupool make us a Edge is darker WalMart Blue and we will take 2 million and pay Cash :) "
That would turn the Market around.

The HD website listed the factory warranty as 30 days and their own regular return policy of 90 days. Pretty sure they take online sales back at the store.

True, I am sure they would offer a refund for 90 days but not sure after that. I do think it shows they will be a common as a pool pump.
Its strange to be thinking in 20 or 30 years we might be telling people things like " we use to drive to a gas station and fill up" and " we use to use tablets and liquid Chlorine, had to run to the store and add it everyday"
And they will think "That was stupid"
