Please we need some advice.

Pentair LED lights.

MicroBrites or GloBrites?

Is it right that GloBrites uses a proprietary housing that no other lights fit?

Is it right that MicroBrites are not as bright as GloBrites?

PB is ready to install it (I think).

Thank you.

On the above thread @ajw22 says the GloBrites do use propriety housing. I would take what he says to the bank.

As for the brightness I don't know so cannot speak of it. Allen may have some input as well as these two @bdavis466 @jimmythegreek

I would go with MicroBrites considering it is the newer product, fits a standard 1.5” hosing, and does not have the failure history of the GloBrites.

Just about all pool LED lights seem to be problematic so we will see how the MicroBrites age.

Yes.

The MicroBrites are smaller then the GloBrites.

Well our concrete is already done. No way to add more then the 3 lights we requested before.
I understand the microbrite has las brightness.
Should we take the chance and go with Microbrite? I don’t want a dark pool.

I would still go with the microbrites. There isn't enough difference between the two as far as brightness goes.

Unfortunately 3 lights probably isn't enough to completely light your pool.

Thank you for your help.
I feel so frustrated. Not the PB fault. He installed the lights yesterday in a position against the house as we have asked before. Well, after seeing pictures and reading comments I was hoping for side lights.
Regardless its done.
Hopefully 3 lights will do something. ???

I have not asked our PB for the equipment info. All I know is that its Pentair brand.

Today husband asked if we could have the VS and we were told would be an extra $ 800.

Anyways, what exactly should we expect to have or should we have.

I got this list from another member here.

We will have a 20x40, salt, vinyl, 3 globrite lights, 1 slide, 1 water fall and 1 bubbler.
No heater.

Is this ALL we would need:

Automation: Pentair IntelliCenter - with SWCG PowerSupply
Filter: Pentair Cartridge - CCP520
Salt: Pentair IC60
Pump: Pentair IntelliFlo VS - 3HP (SKU# 011028

Please and thank you.

GloBrite lights or MicroBrite lights?

You want all Jandy NeverLube valves, no ball valves.

You want indoor control panel on IntelliCenter in case you have a problem with the network connection to it?

light problem...............you can always put an outdoor light right by the pool! One of those pretty black iron post lights. Get them to run some conduit to where you think you will want the light and thank me when you see how pretty it is!

If the light will be within 5' of the pool make sure they run a bond wire to that location.

Well I am like giving up on the light debate. I will leave as GloBrites as he already installed some part of it.

Will mention about the Jandy NeverLube valves and inside panel.

Equipment wise is this what I should try have:
