When we chose the tile in the pool builder showroom it looked like it was pretty much an exact match to the pavers we picked out. We really wanted it to look the same and did not want a contrast. The only contrast we wanted was the pool water color. After they were installed they looked totally different than the showroom which I assume was due to the lighting. It definitely is the same tile. I was just curious if anyone knew how much it would cost to have that tile removed in the future and replaced with say something like stone? I know prices will vary due to what type of material we choose but just trying to get a ball park so I know if I end up not getting used to this tile I can swap it out for something else at some point. Our pool is 10.5 x 22 feet and also has a 5 x 7 spa. Also is it a big project to have done? Does the pool need to be completely drained to do something like this or just partially drained below the tile?
I am hoping once the plaster and water are in it won't be as drastic but I do not like how when I look at it now my eyes are drawn to the tile. It is the complete opposite of what I wanted.
