The cleanup crew came this morning and took all the trash, laid out sand and prepared my front yard for sod...All thats left is to add the Wetedge New Zealand Blue pebble next week oh and to drain that murky water out of the deep end.
Last night we added some chairs out there where the ottomans still are and had a few too many rum and cokes - We were all saying how nice it was - it was breezy and so pretty to look at - we aint (yes i am from Texas and aint is a word) seen nothing yet...Wait till we can float!

Hi Foxy - we went back and forth with decking - we started with Pea Gravel/Aggregate - then went to pavers - then travertine - then Spraydeck - we ended up back at our orginal decision and i couldn't be happier. There is just something earthy about the pebbles that I feel look great next to our modern pool. To me its a great compromise of Modern and Traditional.
It was worth the wait! WOW! It really looks like they did a great job!
Now PLEASE tell me you will be there when they plaster. If only long enough to make sure they have the correct color. There have been two this summer that got the wrong color! One had to be chipped out and redone. The other is still working on what they want to do.
Finally some new news...Just heard today that the plaster crew will be here today to clean out the pool to prepare for pebble tomorrow. Fence guy will be here today to repair fences...Hopefully were filling this hole soon!
Really a thunderstorm - come on - guys came today and drained and cleaned the pool to get ready for pebble in the morning. Thank goodness we have a huge fish tank so my husband has a little pump to drain it - yep he spent the evening redraining our pool again. Just looked at the weather another storm about to hit us - it hasn't rained in a month!
Their here - Its Pebble Day!!!! So I went out to check on the color and they had the wrong color - no fault to them it was our original choice of Midnight Ocean. I personally love the Midnight Ocean but after reading so many posts about the temperature difference of 4-7 degrees we decided to go with a lighter color and chose the New Zealand Blue. Talk about not knowing what to do...I was like maybe it was meant to be...then also thought when we get into our pool and it feels like bath water i will always be to blame. "Should have got the lighter color" so i called PB and asked him to change it. Guys just left to go get the New Zealand Blue.
Now at least when we get in and it feels like bath water we can say "well it could have been hotter".
