We got our pool constructed 2 years back, so it’s a pretty new pool and we are new to all this pool maintenance thing as well. Everything was fine till now, except this spring when we opened our pool, our water level was way low – only about ½ to 1 feet of water on the shallow end - and our pool liner had wrinkles running edge to edge across the floor. The liner on the walls appeared to be bulged with air trapped in it. We called our pool company and they said there could be a leak in the pool. We did a water color test to find the leak but didn’t notice anything. We still have to get a professional to take a look at it.
Has anyone had similar problems? What else could be the cause of the wrinkles? We got a new winter cover this winter, could the drilling or installation have caused any damage? Or could the water level at closing itself been set low causing the cold temperatures of winter to pull the liner?
Any information is appreciated! Thanks!
