wrapping up a DIY pool and need cool deck opinions

I'm finishing up my pool build (DIY) and need to finish the decking.
Because of availability i'm looking at Encore Cool deck coating. Will be going over lightly brushed concrete that's about 6 months old.

Who has actual experience with this ? Does is actually help cool the decking ? How is the finish ? Smooth, rough, same as underneath ?

I don't know that brand but the acrylic makes a big difference. I've stepped between plain concrete and cool deck plenty of times in my life. I'm not going to tell you it's cool because nothing is in the Arizona or Texas sun in the summer, but it makes a big difference. We used Reflecto-Seal. It's supposed to be 15° cooler than their standard line but we haven't had a summer with it yet. I have no idea what brand ours was at our last house but we were happy with it too.
