AZ pool build

So the plumbers finished up today and I have a few questions:

It looks like we have one aerator, should I ask them to add another one or two? It is really hot here in Phoenix and didn’t know how beneficial it would be? I will have a 36” waterfall will that help cool the pool down?
The layout showed one return right above the Baja step, but they ended up putting it above the bench, I am wanting to prevent creating a dead area above the Baja is this ok, or should I ask them to move it?
I looked and made sure that both skimmers were run back to the pump, is there anything else in the plumbing I need to look for?
It looks like there are 4 returns, aerator, auto fill, but next to the skimmer close to the house it looks like another return, but isnt part of the return loop that runs around the pool, what would that be?
Thanks for your helpIMG_2367.jpegIMG_2366.jpegIMG_2365.jpeg

Thanks for the suggestion. I spoke with the plumber and they said the return couldn't be above the baja because it is too shallow. I have seen it in other pools, don't know who the plumber was, but is this accurate?

Baja depth is around 11" of water

Wife also asked if it would create too much movement of water in that area if we are sitting there relaxing?

The pool builder and their subs work for you! If you want a return on the shelf, you should get a return there. 11” is plenty of space for return. Now I am no plumber but it is better to get that completed at this stage than wish you had it done.

Will be putting a lift in the corner by the baja step, but finding crazy high pricing on ADA lift, didn't know if there are any other ideas? T
There are a lot of low end lifts that start as low as $1,000 but most are not high quality or ADA compliant. You're having a beautiful pool built so I'm sure you'll want something higher quality. I'm actually a big fan of S.R. Smith lifts and Aqua Creek lift systems. Great value for the money. I can tell you any decent ADA lift is going to start at around $4,000 and can go as high as $10,000 or more depending on the product you choose.

Thank you for the photo, I sent it to the plumber. It looks like the return and the light are at the same elevation
Ok, so showed the photo to the plumber and he said I will not do that.
I don’t know what to do at this point, is the return essential, do I enlist another plumber? When the first plumber comes back to finish things is he going to refuse because now I have modified his work? I don’t know what to do. Any thoughts?

After looking at the photos of the excavation and seeing the size of your sun shelf, I would suggest having a return line placed in the area that I drew the arrow. It appears that he was going to place a return line on the shelf by the looks of the painted R on the bender board but it ended up a few feet away from the markings.IMG_4258.jpeg

Did your plumber give you any reason why he refuses to install the return line in that location?
What is the distance from dirt to the top of the form?
I can't get an answer from the boss plumber, just his secretary. I have asked for a call and an explanation
For the dimension it is 16" from dirt to the top of the wood form. The electricians set the light at 7" above the dirt

Passed pre-gunite inspection today, now ready for shotcrete. Called up the shotcrete guy, and his phone is not going through? Whats going on...
