Also known as groundhogs. I'm wondering if any of y'all have had experience getting rid of these suckers, and what worked and didn't.

Hire a pest control specialist to trap them in a cage and carry them away and release them far away.

Trapping and relocating is good where allowed by law. Most places you need a license to do that. Bar that, try ‘Yard Enforcer’ motion activated sprayer. Avail on amazon. I’ve had great result against raccoons. I’ve got 3 guarding my pool deck.

I've had luck with getting rid of pests by dumping ammonia down their den holes. They have very sensitive noses and the ammonia odor drives them away. If it works for you, it's a cheap fix and if it doesn't, well ammonia is cheap.

I read on an internet search about the Ammonia. I am going to get some tomorrow. I'm going to throw an ammonia soaked rag or two as far and I can in the hole, the pour a bunch in and around the opening, then fill it back up.
