Pool pump broke so I have a Polaris working every day to circulate water. Chlorine levels decreased to nothing and we started finding white rice like larvae in Polaris basket. Shocked pool and am running Polaris every few hours. Started seeing live white tiny tiny bugs moving still, tiny legs too. Shocked again and they are still alive and moving. Cannot identify or kill. Worried too much Chlorine may cause pool equipment failure, is there such a thing as too much Chlorine. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, welcome to TFP! As long as chlorine is kept in ratio to the CYA level you can run with high chlorine levels. Do you have a current set of test results? Do you know when you will be able to get your pump fixed?
