I have a liner pool and cya reading 145 (pool store) Cloudy water started just today with a FC 4. My question is I have been using the tablets for chlorine. What do I need to do to straighten out this problem. I don’t think I can drain the pool because it is a liner. Thanks

The higher it goes, the more higher chlorine you have to maintain. 4 ppm is insufficient for a cya of 125. The minimum is 10, but 14-16 is best.

Switch to using liquid chlorine with a cya of 30 and you won't have any issues like this. You'll also need a test kit. Pool store results are never reliable. Your cya could be less or more.

Liner pools can be drained to 18 inches. If it's an inground pool, that's in the shallow end and you'd need to do it twice if the CYA is as high as they say.

Before doing so, make sure it's correct with a Test Kits Compared.
