Story of my time living in the southwest... It wasn't the accent that was the tell, it was phrases and words like "pop" in place of soda and of course the infamous "pro-ject". My wife still bugs me about it and now she's the alien [emoji6]

I've only ever seen the backside of a porcupine! And I'm still wondering if it might be a hedgehog. But mostly I just loved the picture

Congrats to everyone who swam today! Weather permitting, I'll join the club tomorrow, after a hefty dose of the good stuff - so much rain! Good times though, love high water level and ridiculous waves. Note to self: DIY wave generator

We have my son and an inner tube for one. We now know just how sturdy an ultraframe is......

Brushed...swam with the girls...added bleach...played with different light shows using my phone

Jug o bleach to raise FC from 8 to 12 in the AM and lots of swimming and cavorting in the PM! After all the cannonballs I probably need to add some acid!

My testing revealed that inner tubes are indeed helpful in wave generation, as are human cannonballs. Thank you for the tip!
how do you like those lights? I just have the built in one from the 70s uses a big light bulb, but want to upgrade when I finish, hoping to get away with using the existing wiring... under concrete deck and allplayed with different light shows using my phone

Finally replaced my batteries in the Speed Stir. It was still working but the magnetic stir bar was flopping around like a fish out of water. New batteries and it's spinning well again.

Had quite a bit of work to do yesterday and for Dutch standards it was quite hot, so it was great to be able to "jump" into the pool to relax. 
Cleaned skimmers and checked PH and CL this morning just after a brief but heavy rain fall...water temp 82 degrees with air temp pushing 90 degrees today.
Last night I stuck my hand in skimmer in the dark to change the hair net. Instead of grabbing thermometer I grabbed a dead toad! Never will I reach into skimmer in the dark again!
