Brent that was one wild storm for sure. It hit us hard and fast last night as well! NOT fun!
All the years of pool ownership I have always had to fight high ch levels. The last 2 months my ch levels went from 350 to 180 this morning. It has been due to the abundant rainfall. My pws has logged almost 40 inches of rain in the last 2 months. Needless to say I have added ca hardner and I don't ever recall doing so [emoji15]
Congratulations and good for you! Finally put the silaflex between the deck an coping. Only took 2 months after purchase. Day 11 of 100+ in a row. An hour after a finished it started pouring...which was needed in a big way.
Ah the TFP life is sweet! Too bad there isn't a Trouble Free Road Trip procedure...Brought FC to slam level, dropped in a floater, covered and said see you in a week. Made it downstate in one piece physically. Mentally still recovering...Pool should be fine, pool owner? 13 hours in a car may need more than that for recovery.
AWESOME! Congrats!Went swimming in the pool for the 1st time this summer.
That was really nice of you! Algae without TFP can be especially frustrating and prolonged!Couple behind me had two bottles of algacide so I struck up a conversation about pools and invited them to the site.
What's that? Congrats!!! Did you have a construction thread? Any pictures to share?Diamond day for my newly plastered pool.
I'm glad it wasn't algae. Are you doing the repair work, having spouse do it, or hiring?Discovered what I thought was algae was really missing grout
Oh I wish it was so easy! Mary failed to overtake the entire coping, so no extra this time round. We'll gladly take your surplus rain if anyone cares to send some this way.
Just a suggestion. It might be useful to have a weekly version of this thread. Maybe one of the wonderful mods here could post one, although I feel a sense of shame suggesting work for another person. It is atrocious to navigate on mobile. Lete know if there is a better way to navigate.
