Wanting information about adding a vinyl liner to fiberglass pool

Looking foe some input on putting a vinyl liner in a fiberglass pool anyone know of a company that will do this near Syracuse NY

I would start by calling Liner Manufacturers to see who they would recommend in the area. Personally, I think because there are not so many points in a fiberglass pool, that it can be done. However, this may be harder than it looks. You really have to go to the true source and see if a liner company can cut to a fiberglass pool. The only thing I am thinking of is on top where the liner is tucked in. If a liner lock can be installed, you may be good to go. Outside of this, you may need to try to repair the fiberglass.

Ya I could be wrong, but I've never heard of putting liner over a fiberglass shell.

I think the issue at hand is the liner around the steps, unless the steps and whole pool will have a liner there. The steps have the edge guards, gaskets and screws, etc.
