I need to replace the motor on my Jandy SHPM2.0 and I would really like to use a VFD for the power savings. The ECM27SQU looked perfect for this however everywhere I look it is either back ordered or listed as discontinued. Now that this motor is discontinued is there a suitable replacement?

What is the total horsepower of the pump. Your signature indicates 2.5. The 2.25 is not large enough. That .25hp lower difference will cause you problems.
It is a Jandy shpm2.0. Signature was wrong. The current motor is 2.0 w/ sf 1.1.
EVO 2.25 will work. Be sure there are no issues with the sealplate. They are notorious for leaking.
