Very new to pools...Need advice (build started 5/30/20)

You can put plaster right on top of plaster. What I would do is go out there and make sure it is nice and rough to get the new plaster a good bit when it is shot. I would also rub my finger on it to make sure it is not higher than the shell. If it is a bit higher I would sand it down some. That will also help the new plaster they will be putting over it.
They did hydrolic cement around mine I remember. But ya as long as it’s rough for surface area thst sounds cool.
That looks SO smooth!! Can't wait to see if full of water! Do NOT turn the water off until it is halfway up the waterline tile!
