Vegas OB! Just got plans back and need some feedback (pics included :) )

Hahahah, you guys are to funny. I at least need to wait till they finish the bench and some final touches before I live back there because with all the grinding and cutting it's still dusty. I had to pull the furniture back inside
We had some family come from out of town and she is around here taking the credit for the finish lol. For most of the build her total involvement was "I'm tired of seeing dirt when is this going to be over" Hahahah
And now she is super involved that's it's over and I'm just gonna sit back and let her have her moment and spend a bit more money lol

Will, I suspect your color will stay very close to that, just clear up a little even though it looks great already. We've drained and filled our pool a couple times over the years and even with white plaster it never looked green. I didn't think other local builds didn't look green in their fill pics either. It's beautiful already and just going to get even better!

Smart man Will! Your momma taught you right! hehe

Kim:kim:
She most surely did :)
I have a feeling he's just letting her go so far into taking credit that when he finally tells her he made it darker she'll have to concede to his great taste [emoji23]
Secretly you are right Joann, but it's all about timing. So one day when the time is right ... BOOM! I'm going to drop it on her and maybe rub it in just a bit lol

I'm very happy with the color and will still be happy if it turns real blue like the pic Mama Suz posted. I will even be happy down the line when the plaster fades behind the pebble if it looks like it does today. So either way I'm pleased and it came out better than expected.
The color of my plaster is a custom blend called BLING QUEEN KIM :)

Thanks AZ !
Bdavis I am happy how it turned out but the wife thought we should have went a little lighter since everything came out so light in the backyard. It does look way better with the water coming down and she even admitted it. I'm happy with it though and wouldn't change a thing aside from I think the spillway may always be on when the pool filters even though I told him I want to be able to run it independently and for 30 minutes at a time.
He will be back this week so I'm going to bring it up and see if I have any options.
You have any ideas or anything I just mention to him?

I have no idea lol, all this is still new to me but I will ask. I told the guy at least 10 times I want to automate the spa cause I don't want my ph through the roof or excessive scale by running it all the time. He said he did it but right now I only have 2 actuators so not sure what they control.
But if I am able to access it and put a actuator then I can automate it correct and put it on a daily timer?
Also what am I looking for to know if it feeds into the return line
The pump on the left only runs the spa jets and blower line, but the one on the right does the suction and returns in the spa

WILL!!! That looks awesome! I LOVE the spill over! You did a great thing replacing the tile with the stone of the spa wall.

Do you like how the spillover sounds?

Take some pics of the equipment pad so you can see everything pipe, pump, line, etc. PRINT them out so you can write notes on/by each and every line, valve, etc. Have him show you how everything works and write notes! It will be SO much info you will "get lost" in all of it. With the pics and notes you should be good to go. IF you forget something or are unsure how it works we can fill in the blanks.

Kim I will definitely do that cause all the plumbing and trying to understand how it works still looks like the matrix to me.
Joann I agree 100% with you, I love the spa and my wife likes it the more she looks at it. I think it ties into our backyard very well

That water color is beyond amazing! I think TFP should create some new adjectives for all these wonderful pools!!! Like maybe amazing-zing-zing-zing. Ok, someone else besides me!

The spa is perfect. I love monochromatic decor, but in your case, the spillway needed to be different. It would have been dull and lost if it were the same color and material.

Landscaping: My guess is you don't need any or anything spectacular with those mountains in the background! They take care of the Wow factor - not counting your pool. Remember, no blocking the view of the mountains!
